Saint
Peter's Church in Barton has a remarkable and unique Anglo-Saxon
Tower & adjoining Bapistry. These date back from the late
10th Century. The church has been altered and added to most of
what you see today was built in the 15th century. Today the church
is used to exhibit the history & the results of the archaeologist
investigations & structural studies carried out between 1978
