Bottesford Town F.C. were established in 1974 and based in the Bottesford a suberb of Scunthorpe. For the 2006-07 season, they are members of the Central Midlands League Premier Division. In 2002 Bottesford Town FC was recognised as a Chartered Standard Club. At the start of 2003 the club was awarded the Community Club status.
