The school building was built in 1893 and opened as a school on 12th December 1904 and closed in 1993. Prior to 1904 it was used as a church. The building was demolished in 1993.

i went to this school in 1951 when Mr Kitching was the headmaster - i was petrified of him.
 
Also there were the Killick family - Doreen Yard and her brother Len i can't remember any more.  I was teased alot as I had come from South Africa and talked differently - we lived with my grandmother down Chemical Lane next door to the Kearney's, then moved to Tofts Road.
I have been in Sydney Australia since 1970 - anyone remember me ?
