Redbourne is an small attractive Village located 6 miles south west of Brigg, 2 miles south of Hibaldstow & south of Scunthorpe.
It is an historic settlement set in woodland with a wide village green and stream in the centre. The village is surrounded by large open farmland. Redbourne is a typical agricultural village and contains a number of interesting buildings the include:-
the Church.
the School.
Red Lion Inn.
the Manor House.
 
Ermine Street runs through the parish although the village is some off the Roman Road. Redbourne Hall dates back to the 18th Century & was the home to the Dukes of Saint Albans until the first world war. Their Mausoleum lies in the medieval church of St Andrews which was recently restored by the redundant Churches Fund.

The Doomsday Book (1086) referred to the village as "Redburne, Radburne"
