Saint Peter's Church
Saint Peter's Church in Barton is mainly 15th century with a remarkable and unique Anglo-Saxon Tower & adjoining Bapistry. St Peter's is one of England's most studied Churches due to its outstanding archaeology.

Humber Bridge
The Humber Bridge was opened in 1981 and was the longest single span bridge in the World & remained so for some 17 years. Take a walk along the Humber Bank for the best views. Free visitor parking is available.

Waters Edge Country Park
Watersedge Country Park has great views of the Humber Bridge, a Visitors Centre (opening 2005) & kid's play areas. With it's collection of ponds, reedbeds, meadows, and woodlands it is great haven for bird & other wildlife.

The Ropewalk Contemporary art and craft gallery has Regional and National exhibitions in 2 galleries. Details of exhibitions, workshops and facilities with detailed history of the site and surrounding area.

51 Fleetgate 
51 Fleetgate is Barton upon Humber's oldest house and is of Medieval origin. History and tour of the house with dateails of the Barton & District Healthy Living Project.

Far Ings Nature Reserve
Far Ings Nature Reserve comprises freshwater clay pits and reedbeds which attracts a wide range of waterfowl and reedbed birds. The meadows and hawthorn scrub attracts many other forms of wildlife. There is also a visitors centre & giftshop.

Pasture House Fisheries
Pasture House Fisheries is a holiday and fishing complex. Located next to the River Humber it has a stunning view of the Humber Bridge.

Thornton Abbey - Thornton
Thornton Abbey was founded by the Augustinian Monks in 1139. Much of the Abbey is ruined, however the most spectacular feature to remain is the three story gatehouse which is one of the finest in England.

The Palm Farm - Thornton

The Palm Farm specialises in hardy garden plants including palms, exotics, trees, shrubs, climbers, conifers etc. Adjoining Thorton Hall there is a walled garden, paddocks & an orchard which were established in 1967.
